In the training we had the opportunity to make lesson plans and teach a workshop with two other students, and a team.
Needless to say, I took the opportunity. At first I was going to end the class, but the day before we changed our minds and decided that I would do the beginning circle and the warm up.
I didn't get as much time to review the material as I would have wanted to but it really wasn't a problem. At one point during the circle I couldn't remember what comes next, but its hard to explain what I did to remember. I used my sense memory. I had a dance that went with what I had to say, and when I forgot I went back to the dance and used my sense memory.
I suppose my previous training made the warm-up sound more like a poem which I guess is ok.
There was some miscommunication within my group. People got hurt. As i see it, it all stemmed from a lack of trust. At a first look it appears that they didn't trust each other. But at second look, I see that they didn't trust themselves.
In order to do this work we must have compassion, but that starts with compassion for ourselves.
The photo is of my team making lesson plans.
You cant fool me, I see the war maps in the background! Danceability was a front for the rebellion!! Oh but I digress you make a wonderful leader!
