I especially liked the groups of young women. They were dressed really nicely. They were drinking champagne and eating strawberries! Thats my kind of picnic.

Vondelpark
The Vondelpark is one of my mothers old haunts. Somewhere she used to spend time during days of to have fun and relax.
There are people from all walks of life here. Everyone goes to the Vondelpark.

One of my favorite things about Amsterdam is that the people are truly accepting of people from all walks of life, as you put it. The tolerance of differences is the norm...I used to go ice skating in Vondelpark in the wintertime, picnics in the spring and summer, and relaxing with friends and drinks when the air was chilly in autumn...
